  • INHALATION
    		• Confusion. Dizziness. Drowsiness. Nausea.
    		Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.
    		Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
  • SKIN
    		• Dry skin. Roughness.
    		Protective gloves.
    		Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
  • EYES
    		• Redness.
    		Safety goggles or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.
    		First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION



    • SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Collect leaking liquid in sealable containers. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place (extra personal protection: self-contained breathing apparatus).
    		Cool. Keep in the dark. Ventilation along the floor.

    PHYSICAL STATE; APPEARANCE:
     HIGHLY VOLATILE COLOURLESS LIQUID , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

    PHYSICAL DANGERS:
     The vapour is heavier than air.

    CHEMICAL DANGERS:
     The substance decomposes on burning producing toxic and corrosive fumes including hydrogen bromide, hydrogen chloride and hydrogen fluoride. The substance decomposes under the influence of light.

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
     TLV: 50 ppm; 404 mg/m3 (ACGIH 1992-1993).
    PDK: 20 mg/m3 C (USSR 1993).


    		ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
     The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation.

    INHALATION RISK:
     A harmful contamination of the air can be reached very quickly on evaporation of this substance at 20░C.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
     The substance may cause effects on the cardiovascular system and central nervous system. Exposure at high levels may result in unconsciousness. Medical observation is indicated.

    EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
     The substance may have effects on the liver and kidneys. May cause reproductive toxicity in humans.
